Home church: Yakima Foursquare
How it started: Dianne was raised in a Catholic family complete with 3
different stepfathers. She enjoyed sports and singing during her youth.
She was saved at the age of 12 at a Covenant Church Camp. That event
sparked attendance at a Foursquare Church where she matured as
Christian… led worship in her church and found a prophetic gifting for
encouraging others. Dianne has a naturally “bright” personality and uses
her energy to bring hope and life to others.
She met Wayne in high school and they worked together at a pizza
restaurant. Dianne was counseled not to date a young man a second time
if he wouldn’t accept an invitation to church. Wayne took up the offer
and got saved and the courtship continued another year before they
married. Dianne finished college after the birth of the first of three
boys.
She worked and tried network marketing to facilitate spending more
time with her family. She excelled and earned trips and bonuses. She
then hit a phase where she got so consumed in her business that Wayne
resisted it and she felt she wasn’t giving her kids the full attention
that they deserved. However, this business experience laid an incredible
foundation for her current business, Cookie Lee Jewelry. Dianne loves
jewelry, dresses well, and enjoys the business / ministry she has with
other women. Wayne is very supportive of her business and enjoys his
occasional role in hosting shows and developing software for her group.
Wayne and Dianne have held positions in their church (marriage
ministries, worship leaders). At one point they were being groomed to
pastor and found themselves resisting it. Here’s why in Dianne’s words:
“The main check in our spirits’ about being sent out as pastors’
was honestly money. We both LOVE to give and Wayne has a huge gift of
giving, but we also both see ourselves making a lot of money. That was
always hard to admit, even to each other. We are now RELEASED for so
much MORE!!”
Giving, without reservation is something I see myself doing and am just
now doing more and more. I LOVE to see a need and just FILL it! To cheer
someone up or to throw them a housewarming, take them out for lunch,
surprise them with a gift, to bless a single-mom, whatever….when the
finances are there, Wayne and I will be the first to write the check out
and say, “How much do you need?"
Personal Passion: Dianne had a prophetic word about being a
“prophetess of joy” that has stayed with her through the years. She has
a gift of encouragement and a calling to bring hope and life –
especially to women needing to lift their vision. Her business provides
a natural venue to minister to her marketplace congregation. Her heart
is to impart even a glimpse of the Passion their Father God has for
them.
On a more practical note, Dianne simply enjoys tasteful and colorful
jewelry. She naturally connects with other women who do as well. She
loves to give sincere compliments on something someone is wearing that
leads to conversation about her business, a sale, and a friendship.
Personal Benefit: Dianne has been in Cookie Lee for 2 years and
has already replaced her income from a job. She and Wayne will go on an
expense paid trip to the Bahamas in June and enjoyed an amazing 8 day
cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. She may be in line for a Mercedes by
summer depending on business volume.
Dianne loves the personal contact from doing shows in homes, offices,
and bazaars… It’s like “girl’s night out.” It’s especially satisfying to
see personal, financial, and spiritual growth in her down line. Seeing
other women progress through making their car payment, money for
re-modeling, and a housekeeper, FUN money, whatever they want…. it is
rewarding!
Value to others: In a word, it’s “sisterhood.” The sense of developing new
friendships, feeling connected, and having fun together is a drawing
card. Dianne often takes other women interested in Cookie Lee to the
showroom in Seattle. The 2 hours in the car coming and going usually
turn into some form of ministry. Women naturally tend to open up and
will sometimes pour their hearts out to her with out prompting. They
routinely draw upon her pastoral quotient and gravitate toward the color
she puts into the lives of others.
Business Potential (upside): The sale of Cookie-Lee Jewelry has a
lucrative return for representatives like Dianne. (You earn 50% retail
profit.) She’s gets to wear her product and network with other women.
The program includes free leadership training and the opportunity to
earn vacations and awards. Network marketing is designed to help people
get involved and get the training and personal development they need to
succeed. It's an excellent place to start in business for anyone.
It's also is an excellent second income opportunity where
you can learn vital business skills at low cost. Especially selling,
organizing, making presentations, accounting, team building,
negotiating, persuading, and communicating. 85 percent of what you need
to learn to be successful in business you can learn from running a
successful Network marketing business.
Complexities, failures (downside): Every business has to be worked with
diligence. And, like every business, the people that want to join
Cookie-Lee don't all maintain their enthusiasm and finish the course.
About 40% decide not to continue which is typical for most network
marketing endeavors and also typical for any business start-up.
Vision for the Kingdom: Dianne and Wayne’s first priorities are three
boys approaching their teenage years. Wayne is about to create their
business web site to explore the internet approach to sales. They both
have a strong aptitude to teach and train in conference settings with a
spiritual overtone. They are both natural givers that love to help
others financially, spiritually, and personally.
Impact from Releasing Kings: Dianne read Releasing Kings and then
attended the conference on the book which Wayne help sponsor through the
FGBMFI. The conference and the book gave Wayne and Dianne a great sense
of permission to excel in their business. They have been freed to
completely enjoy it; free from any residual guilt (poverty) over being
blessed financially; and freed into the sense that real ministry can
occur outside the church. They are "going."
How Dianne Can Help You:
Dianne represents a viable business opportunity for any woman in any
culture. She’s a natural encourager with a call to release women into
the freedom of being entrepreneurial and missions-minded. If you have an
interest, feel free to call her.
