Network Marketing

Is it for me?

Becoming entrepreneurial - Network Marketing is not for everyone. But it is one expression of becoming more entrepreneurial and I believe "more entrepreneurial" translates to more spiritual for everyone. I decided to get involved because I wanted to meet people that are gifted in sales - they are usually evangelists and often prophetic. I also wanted to cultivate both of those areas in my own life. I believe meeting and working with those you wish to emulate provides a forum for their anointing to rub off.

The Motive - I've already learned one thing. Sales is helping connect people to something of value to them. Breaking the poverty mindset is really about showing people practical ways to increase their finances. Additional wealth, for Christians, translates to additional ministry opportunities.

I’ve been in Market America about 6 months; see https://www.johnsue.unfranchise.com/. I didn't have extra time or money so the ease of start-up helped me. The guy that introduced me to it is Dan Guab and what caught my interest is that it’s not high pressure (at least he isn’t) and he’s making 250k/yr after 9 years. I've since interviewed him. The plan requires 2 years of 15 hrs/wk developing your network to make something close to a partial income; say 24 to 50K a year. They don’t advertise is as a “get rich quick scheme”. The size of the network is manageable. The target is a customer base of 10 people buying about $40 a month. Usually one of them is interested in becoming a distributor so the second goal is sponsoring one new distributor every month or two. The general philosophy is purchasing items you already use or need through MA and having them dropped off at your door for a competitive price and excellent quality.

I’m also using it as an excuse to discipline myself to be more entrepreneurial without drawing the “amway” stigma. It’s something wives or husbands can participate in or run with depending on interest. Many of the products are for women and many more are household items usually purchased by women. I also happen to believe women are naturally more gifted at networking than men.

The initial startup for me was about $600 to become a distributor of which about half is product to try. I personally take the nutritional supplements and they seem to work well. Some have miracle testimonies but I didn’t have any health issues before I started.

There are several things you can do to find out more.

  1. I have a DVD overview I could mail you that views via a computer hooked up to the internet.

  2. Dan would be glad to get on the phone with us anytime and I would be happy to chat as well. Some of the slides on the DVD above are available on the internet and can be viewed in conjunction with a phone call. My phone is 509-308-6873 and email is johnsue@clearwire.net.

  3. I could recommend the same nutritional supplements I started on so you could try something. The web site shows them all.

These are some of the people (both Christians) that influenced me in the direction of Network Marketing.

Dan Gaub (July 05) I met Dan at lunch. He's a neat Christian with his own company. His web site has two excellent videos. The first on the principles of generating wealth and the difference between the poor, middle class, and wealthy spending priorities (10 minutes). The second is about 30 minutes and describes the principles behind network marketing. I think its worthwhile even if you have no intention of getting involved. Click Here to view them.

Dani Johnson (Nov 05) Dani has a live training event called First Steps to Success. Its a two day seminar for people in network marketing. I'm not necessarily recommending you get in network marketing, but if you want to hear the sound of a King ministering in a crowd of saved and unsaved people, this set is very interesting. She's 35 year old mother of 5 with prophetic twist in her gift mix. As I recall it's about $60.
