How It Spreads - It starts with a realization that "we win." If you listen to the daily news, you would conclude that we're all losing. However, the Kingdom is being built every day; the increase of Jesus' rule is expanding through Kings every day and His peace and Glory will one day soon fill the earth. He is the King of Kings. It's our privilege to share in these victories... including the work and the warfare. We're even going to lead some of those victories... It feels like a "break out"; a flood of righteousness. It's not the enemy that comes in like a flood - It's Kings! ...the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. Isa 9:6-7 NIV So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, "As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand." 1 Chron 14:11 NIV So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the LORD drives. Isa 59:19 NASU Viral Revival - We usually think of revival in terms of God sovereignly moving in a specific area and believers flocking to a "movement." God is certainly moving, but it's not primarily through large crusades and famous leaders (we still value crusades and leaders!). I'm seeing a grass roots stirring of individuals who catch the message and run with it. The numbers are still first fruits and the message is just beginning to be articulated in the church. The release of Kings is still in a pioneering phase... some are ignited by the message while others just say, "no thank you." It's happening around the world! Youth is being renewed - Another observation is that people of all ages are being "triggered." Many are 50 and over. It's a new generation that isn't being disqualified over past failures or current status. Kings are not easily defeated. They are simply comparing the desires of their hearts with the will of God and building the Kingdom. They are allowing themselves to find the ingredients of implementing their dreams... new ideas, coaches, mentors, prosperity, etc. Regardless of age, their hope and faith have a child-like enthusiasm coupled with the wisdom of proverbs (white hair and experience). We can call it a younger generation because God is renewing the youth of many. ...and forget not all his benefits — who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Ps 103:2-5 NIV "Dancing" describes the condition of their hearts. The Holy Spirit is satisfying their desires with good things and youthful exuberance is causing them to leap like gazelles. It's very entertaining to watch. It blesses the heart of God.
