Contagious Kings
Dear John - Million thanks for your prompt reply and copy of ‘Releasing Kings for ministry in the Marketplace. It has to speak to all the bases covered, and that it is a huge blessing does not even begin to describe the experience of the revelation and power of answered prayer in a new profound way. I must confess that initially when I began receiving your newsletters, I was tempted to dismiss them just as another prosperity gospel that has been so abused and misunderstood in this country. However I kept struggling with a feeling of deep yearning for spiritual fulfillment, a sense of direction and belonging that proved elusive no matter how hard I tried, no matter where I looked. So when I read ‘Exercise your heart’, I bit the bullet and extrapolated by beginning to practice the contents of your newsletters that I had received to date and WHAM! Just like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle suddenly falling into place, I began to discover who I am and decided to shed the fear based worldview that had had me completely emasculated. I am undergoing an identity shift. The articles completely resonated with my spirit, oh how I wish I had had them a decade earlier! I said yes lord make my name great (I now realize that its not a sin to ask God for that) never mind that I am nearing 50 (I am a Caleb!) I am certainly surrendering my mediocrity. Previously, my self esteem had suffered a severe bashing (I had been laid off work, no job, no money, pending bills) was ineffective in ministry, the people I tried to evangelize laughed me out of town. I guess they could not identify with a God who could not come through for me. I almost gave up. I have spruced myself up, groomed myself, dress well and hold my head high and guess what? Even the most unlikely of people have began seeking me out for advice on diverse issues ranging from marriage, parenting, relationships and even for financial assistance (which I don’t have - if they only knew!) Needless to say my confidence is on the rise, and I haven’t even begun yet! That has confirmed that there is a price tag to ministry; money which I don’t have as yet but soon will and influence which is gaining momentum daily. Did I mention that there is a spring in my step? So it’s like I have purposed to exercise my heart, move up from the mediocre mindset, from pew to purpose, get rhythm, and experience glorious freedom. Guess what? From Pew to Purpose got me seriously thinking about from grass to grace, from rags to riches, and from trash to treasure. So I am thinking of… No excuse me (I have given myself permission to be childlike). I am shortly starting a dynamic/network/pilot program/ministry called TRASH 2 TREASURE that seeks to create a life changing experience for, and to empower, ignorant and/or frustrated Kings like I have been for the glory of God. I know you have a big part in it. Can I stand on your shoulder from faraway Kenya? I completely agree with you that it’s all about the Kingdom and Kings; yes its all about me and I am going for it I am busting a few doors down! I am working on a business plan /proposal for Trash2Treasure which I will submit to you shortly for your perusal and perhaps approval; the approach and timing of my plan may need to be tweaked!
You have revolutionized my life and it's my ardent prayer that many more
lives will similarly be impacted. Thank you for being my friend and
helping me feel appreciated and worth something the few times we have
corresponded notwithstanding.

In France, copies can be obtained from Editions Menor or Librairie Chretienne CLC. The Title in French is “Libération des Rois pour le ministère dans le monde du travail”.
