The teaching and response were great, but somehow it went far beyond that. I honestly can't get into words everything we experienced. The one thing that surprised me is that the plan was for two speakers and about 10 sessions. In the afternoon the Holy Spirit taught one of them himself. I wasn't prepared for a Toronto style interruption; ministry occurred at a much deeper level than we realized. Here are three areas of breakthrough. Healing - Many that are called to be Kings have never been welcomed into Marketplace Ministry. Most have some degree of bottled up hope that has been deferred for years. The Lord is drawing it out and one of the steps is healing. The sweetest spirit of intercession and healing swept over the meeting and 100 Kings could only bow in His presence. I was personally afraid to speak because words were dwarfed by the majesty of His presence in the room. We've used "revival" and "reformation" to try and articulate the significance of this move. Now those words have a reality that reminds me of Toronto, Azusa, and Pentecost. I was awestruck. The Lord Himself is healing and raising up Kings with a very personal touch. Joshua - The second thing that happened was a gentle reminder that healing, although real and nurturing, is not a pool that Kings return to every time the water stirs. We are not victims; Joshua was there with this reminder: Josh 17:14-18 14 The people of Joseph said to Joshua, "Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are a numerous people and the LORD has blessed us abundantly." 15 "If you are so numerous," Joshua answered, "and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites." 16 The people of Joseph replied, "The hill country is not enough for us, and all the Canaanites who live in the plain have iron chariots, both those in Beth Shan and its settlements and those in the Valley of Jezreel." 17 But Joshua said to the house of Joseph — to Ephraim and Manasseh — "You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment 18 but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out." NIV And He added this question: So Joshua said to the Israelites: "How long will you wait before you begin to take possession of the land that the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you? Josh 18:3  NIV A Bridge - The third "gem" was Sherwyn Tryon, David's Pastor. You can recognize His shepherd's heart with a first impression. They (David and Sherwyn) are a great example of Kings and Priests making room for one another. Sherwyn's saying is "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work." It's very true. By the end of the conference the Holy Spirit had built a bridge of trust and respect that connects the Market Place and the Church. It was truly a breakthrough that we all felt and cherished. Although the conference ended Saturday night, the anointing carried right into the Sunday service the next morning through Sherwyn's message. The sessions were recorded both as audio CD's and Video DVD's and will be available in a few days.   Life is an adventure. People are a blessing. God is amazing.
