God wants to grant your heart’s desire – make your dream come true (Ps 37:4) He delights in prospering his people in every way – including wealth (Deut 8:18) God wants to put some of His glory on you – make your name great (Gen 12:2) Wealth and influence are tools to expand the Kingdom and bless others (Gen 12:2) All these truths point to God’s desire to give us the Kingdom here on earth. 32 "Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:35  NKJV 9 Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, "Now, I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant." Jer 1:9-10 The practice – It’s one thing to know the Biblical basis for God’s heart to bless his people. The next step is to put it into practice. What does that look like? A prophetic people are being released into their inheritance right now. Breakthroughs really are happening for many. Here’s what it looks like. Listening Prayer – In additional to petitioning God for your needs. Take the time to just sit with pen and paper and hear what he has to say. As you read the Bible pay close attention to what is quickened in your spirit. Time - “Busyness” is chief expression of carnality in modern society. There are two reasons to take time to meditate. Waiting gives time for the Holy Spirit to speak to us. Taking time to dream is an essential element of the creative process. I was recently out of work for three months. It was a unique opportunity to step back from the daily grind and really get creative. Something happened during those times of waiting on God and just plain waiting. I pursued dreams. I sat and chatted with the Lord about what would be really fun to do for the rest of my life. I got some real answers. The idea – Creative scientists and musicians are examples of people that come up with brand new things and often hold themselves above marketing the application. I believe the Lord is leading people to dream about and create new things that include the business application. Here’s what I heard the Lord speak into my heart. Prophets will profit. People that can hear from God and hear the desires of their own hearts are becoming entrepreneurial. The transition – There was a time in History when we understood God was moving in nations and great denominational movements. Then we went through a season when we understood God was moving through great churches and we understood churches had unique visions. I believe we are now in a season where God is opening the door for individuals to do great things. Your assignment – Please dream about the desires of your heart. Dream about the entrepreneurial application of that dream. Can it be multiplied financially? Reproduced? Can it be multiplied through other people? Discipleship and franchising will be seen as the same thing. Can you see the ministry in what we previously abandoned as the secular marketplace? Jacob worked for Laban faithfully for 14 years for Leah and Rachel, his wives. Laban understood that he had been blessed because of Jacob and offered a raise. 27 But Laban said to him, "If I have found favor in your eyes, please stay. I have learned by divination that the LORD has blessed me because of you." 28 He added, "Name your wages, and I will pay them." Gen 30:27-28 Now Jacob could have asked for a raise. Instead, he asked for a contract that gave him room to be entrepreneurial and creative. Many Christians have good jobs and get good appraisals. Employers have benefited because of them. Yet there is a divine unrest in your heart because God is asking you to step out and “do something for my own household.” I have a suggestion - DO IT! 29 Jacob said to him, "You know how I have worked for you and how your livestock has fared under my care. 30 The little you had before I came has increased greatly, and the LORD has blessed you wherever I have been. But now, when may I do something for my own household?" Gen 30:29-30 Get It? - God wants to bless your household. He's waiting for you to apply all that faith and maturity into something he can multiply. It's something like a business or an investment. It includes marketing the idea or product. Many are being called away from their job with Laban to do something for your own household.
