subscribe to this Newsletter   Kings – and the Next Generation Steve Brown asked Harold and I to speak with students in The Network - Steve's ministry to young entrepreneurs. The Lord is definitely talking to the next generation. I don’t think it’s a generation strictly defined by age. The next move of God has already begun in the marketplace and many are finding an amazing anointing for prosperity, generosity and a context for ministry. Here is what the Lord is saying to that generation. Those who went before labored to add to the Kingdom. This is an hour when I will multiply your efforts and carry you on eagle's wings. Position yourself for multiplication for the days of addition are coming to a close and I am preparing to multiply my presence throughout the earth. I will multiply your finances. I will multiply your influence. I will multiply your ministry. Your heart will skip with delight as you experience disciples multiplying. Warfare will be great, but my presence, my power, my provision, and my people will be much greater. "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.  24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.  John 16:23-24 NKJV Go to college young man - Our parents encouraged us to work hard in school to get good grades so we could go to college and get a good job with benefits and a retirement. I’m certainly not down on education and a good job but selling your time by the hour is addition, not multiplication. God is leading people into a new level of creativity and teaching us to multiply. It's not a new idea! The original Great Commission in Genesis is to be fruitful and multiply. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  Gen 1:27-28  KJV When Peter addressed the Jews her referred to God as the father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They would have something to say about multiplication. 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. Acts 3:12-13 1. Abraham – became great and was very prosperous And he said, I am Abraham's servant. 35 And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses. Gen 24:34-35 KJV 2. Isaac – 10,000% return in one year Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him. 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. 14 He had so many flocks and herds and servants that the Philistines envied him. Gen 26:12-15 3. Jacob – exceedingly prosperous In this way the man grew exceedingly prosperous and came to own large flocks, and maidservants and menservants, and camels and donkeys.             Gen 30:42-43 4. Joseph - prospered and had success in everything he did The LORD was with Joseph and he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master. 3 When his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD gave him success in everything he did, 4 Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. Gen 39:2-4 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob taught His kids to be fruitful and multiply. Every example we have is one of multiplied prosperity and ministry. An anointing for multiplication – Instead of selling your time by the hour in a job (servant), our real goal is to multiply our efforts and become Kings. Here are some examples. Livestock reproduction - Jacob multiplied his wealth in livestock because the goats reproduced. Flocks and herds multiply because one mama goat can have 10 kids in her life time – 20 if she has twins. In addition, the process compounds because the offspring start having kids too. If you start with 100 goats and they all have twins for 10 years your herd increases to 55,400 goats. See why it’s better to be a goat owner than a goat herder? In additional you can put 10% down and borrow the rest (That's called leveraging your money - a key to multiplication). Suppose each year you put 10K down and borrowed 90 to buy a small house for a rental property. Lets assume the rent covers the loan, and expenses with no profit until you sell in 3 years for 130K. Then you buy 3 houses with the profit and repeat the cycle. I took the picture and I can testify that they are having fun building the Kingdom. The table above doesn't hurt their mood either. Direct Sales / Home business - Let's assume you join a direct sales organization and start your own business. You buy $150/month of product for your personal use and you find 10 customers that buy $50/month each for their use. In addition you sponsor 2 more distributors in the first three months and help them find 10 customers. In the next three months you and they find the 10 customers and 2 distributors for their business. Let's assume the dropout rate is 30% and you spend 10-15 hours a week making contacts and going to meetings one night a week. After 2 years you become a manager with a staff of 62 motivated people that aren't waiting for you to do anything. In this case you multiplied yourself. Instead of you doing all the work you help others become successful and they multiply your efforts. This is the way discipleship works; we teach others how to be successful. This business option is a good one if you don't have a nest egg and your willing to develop some people skills. Month Distributors Monthly Inc. I took two years of calculus and got an engineering degree. They never taught me to multiply. A job is just a vehicle to get you some experience and a financial nest egg to get started in your real entrepreneurial calling. The inheritance of Kings touches a means of multiplying your name, your finances, and your ministry. Selling your time for a salary doesn't multiply no matter how much you make. God is anointing people to multiply. It's not about just starting a business. 90% of new businesses fail in the first year. It's all about finding the multiplication. It can happen lots of different ways. Ask the Lord to show you yours. Multiplication is a covenant promise that belongs to Kings and It's the engine that makes the great commission achievable. You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me." 18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today. Deut 8:16-18 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. Deut 28:12-13 Full-Time Ministry - I believe every Christian is called to full-time ministry. For a priest, that's when you move from your job to your paid position in the church and spend all your time equipping the saints for the work for the work of the ministry. For King, that's when you move from your job to your paid position in your business and spend all your time doing your ministry to expand the Kingdom.   Life is an adventure. People are a blessing. God is amazing.
