What God is saying to Kings In each newsletter will try to give you a sense of what the Holy Spirit is saying to Kings right now… somewhat like the articles you see on the Elijah List emails.  We share these for two reasons; 1) to build you up with encouragement, and 2) to provide a venue for intercessory support.  In the future I would like to include your sense of what God is saying as well.  Feel free to submit them at: http://www.releasing-kings.com/Feedback.html The Worldcast Conference in Yakima featured Harold and Larry Kreider.  Larry's theme was "Spiritual Fathering".  It was great and we recommend his materials (http://www.dcfi.org/).  I'm reading The Cry for Spiritual Fathers and Mothers.  Steve Brown and I shared two afternoon sessions on Releasing Kings.  Here's what the Lord was doing in the area of Marketplace Ministry. On Friday morning Harold shared on the historic influences on the church.  It's a current emphasis on his heart that provided the theological foundation for marketplace ministry.  We summarized it in chapter 7 of Releasing Kings "and" Harold's complete book, Who Is God will be available at www.worldcastministries.com as a PDF file by the end of August. After Harold laid the foundation Steve and I shared in the afternoon sessions - one on Finding Your Hearts Desire and the second on how to stop living from paycheck to paycheck.  I was astounded at the receptivity and the impact of the message. (of course I recommend the tape 800-308-5837 7/23/04 2PM session on Releasing Kings).  Here's what the Lord is saying to Kings right now: The Holy Spirit is re-laying the theological foundation for Marketplace ministry. This new foundation includes a new way of relating to God. Although we all say, "Jesus is my personal savior" (and it's true), the practical outworking in the marketplace is just beginning to unfold. Kings are molting - shedding their "I have to do this mentality" for an entrepreneurial spirit that is bubbling up out of the desires of their heart. The theology is a permission slip to entertain their heart's desire and pursue their dreams and visions. The Holy Spirit is opening doors for Kings in both increase (wealth, influence) and ministry (opportunities at work and in missions) "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."                                                      Gen 12:2-3 People that already have wealth will be released into ministry, But most of the Body of Christ isn't in the "wealthy" category.  In fact many live from paycheck-to-paycheck. The Lord is starting a grass-roots movement among regular folks that are called to occupy their land and expand their part of the Kingdom. This anointing is for all of the Body of Christ (especially Kings) and its starts with a dream in the desire of your heart. God is asking Kings a questions right now (and giving them a theology to hear it!) At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, "Ask! What shall I give you?                                                     1 Kings 3:5 NKJV Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.            John 16:23-24   Intercession One thing close to my heart is helping Kings connect with their dream. We want to accomplish that with prayer and networking and we'll be starting an intercessory ministry toward that end.  Here's your prayer assignment. The Lord is beginning a grass roots movement for Kings. It will spread like Toronto and Brownsville, but have it's own unique look and feel. Ask the Lord to show us how to walk through this open door... Tools to help Kings gain access to this new aspect of knowing God (the great commandment to love him) and tools to spread this liberating message (the great commission). Ask the Lord to network Kings with a multitude "fathering influences" that will guide us into the throne room for this Kingly anointing. Kind of like pre-job safety meetings where someone with more experience helps us take the risk out of going into this new land to get our giants and come back with the deed.   What’s happening - Itinerary We’re sharing the humble beginnings of our itinerary for your information and prayer.  We’re getting appointments for radio interviews on Christian stations and book orders from every state and several foriegn countries.  The people that contact us are intrigued by the topic and the interviews flow like a river. Years ago as a minister, I followed my heart towards business. A leader told me I was missing God and would lose the anointing on my life. Until last week I wondered! We want to do the same thing with missions opportunities locally and abroad.... connect Kings with some giants and stand back.
