suggestions

Passion vs. Pacifism
And God said, Let us make
man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion
over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the
cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him... Gen 1:26-27 KJV
Waiting on God
- There is a remarkable awakening in the Kingdom right now. A first
fruits is combining ministry, prosperity, and personal passion to
advance the Kingdom in amazing ways. While the US is gripped in the fear
of recession, bank failures and economic hardship God's marines are
seeing great opportunity and taking steps toward a very bright future.
They can see through the smoke screen of apprehension sown by the enemy.
Their confidence and boldness are actually increasing through the
turmoil.
I want to contrast the Kingly attitude
described above with a more "average" outlook that is rooted in our
imbalanced theology. The lyrics to our worship songs and the tone of
most of our preaching is directed at waiting on God. We stay in His
presence until the cloud moves, right? My sense is that the cloud is
long gone and we don't know it.
Note: I think God is very patient with His people and we'll turn
this corner gradually. So we don't want to throw rocks at other
moves or streams. However, we do want to point to the open door and
be examples of Kings that have walked through it.
Here's the tweak
to our theology. God has already given us dominion over
natural things (not one another). We already have authority over demons,
sickness, finances, etc. What has been missing is the realization that
we are created in His image. The passion of our heart reflects God's own
heart. Most of our preaching contrasts the will of God with our carnal
desires. That certainly can be true. However, most of the time our
passions and God's passions are the same. We naturally gravitate toward
His plan and purposes because our DNA is came from the throne. Can God
direct us? Certainly. We love to see his purposes clearly. We love to be
adjusted by our Father. However, the norm for initiative is that we
already have permission (really a mandate) to "take" dominion. God is
waiting for us to implement the passions he's placed in our hearts. We
have access now to pull down the provisions and break through obstacles.
We don't have to wait for anything.
Making progress
- Theological pacifism will leave you sitting in the pew all your life
(the devil's will for Christians - If he can't keep us from salvation,
he can at least keep us from building the Kingdom via ministry in the
marketplace). The key to making progress is to see the lie behind our
excuses. Here are a few examples.
1. I'm not
ordained or sent by my church - I've got news for your.
You're not going to be! You will either surrender to Jesus ordination
over your life and ministry or you will continue to sit. Let's take it a
step farther. If your initiative is so low that you have to be sent by a
pastor, you probably don't have the courage to make it through the
spiritual warfare you'll face building the Kingdom in the marketplace.
Pastors equip, God sends.
2. I've tried and
failed before - Have you failed 7 times? if so, have you
failed 7 times 70. Everybody fails. The difference between becoming a
King and sitting is your tenacity. Kings look at failure as a learning
experience. Instead of wallowing in self pity they reload for the next
battle.
For though a righteous man
falls seven times , he rises again, but the wicked are brought down
by calamity. Prov 24:16 NIV
3. I don't have
the finances - If you have any vision at all the finances you
presently possess will not cover it. Our job is to take dominion over
the finances and create them. Most of our spiritual upbringing solved
financial need by taking an offering. Inherent in the offering concept
is a statement - "my vision is more important than yours and you should
help me pay for it." We're not trying to pull the plug on offerings -
They are fine for priestly ministry. Kings operate on a different
wavelength. Their calling is to speak to financial lack and live in a
"cup running over" lifestyle. Their attitude is that I can make
everything God has called me to do happen. They know there is an answer
and they set out to find it. Poverty sets out to find others to fund it.
The level of financial breakthrough
available to believers right now is stunning. If you have an offering
mindset, it's likely that you'll totally miss the real answer.
Isaac planted crops in that
land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD
blessed him. 13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to
grow until he became very wealthy. 14 He had so many flocks and
herds and servants that the Philistines envied him. Gen 26:12-14 NIV
4. I don't have
any help - One of the keys of marketplace ministry is
networking your vision with others who share part of it. Instead of
employees with no vision imagine a staff that is motivated by the vision
of the company. If God has placed a big vision in your heart, you will
find that same passion in others if you look. If you ask people to help
you they seldom will; if you give them a piece of the action in line
with their passion they will seldom refuse.
And the LORD answered me,
and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he
may run that readeth it. Hab 2:2 KJV
Don't be
a holy pacifist. Implement your passion; get your hands dirty; make some
mistakes. Have some fun building the Kingdom with the Father.

You're invited into the
vision to release Kings; communicate the message, make the money, and do
the mission.
-
The Message - Our first goal is to
get the Releasing Kings message into the hands of the messengers that
will carry it... do it, preach it, teach it, example it.
-
The Money - The second goal is to
help Kings break out of poverty by networking them with practical
opportunities to prosper. We want to introduce them to the right people,
the right opportunity, and the right financial approach.
-
The Mission - Network Kings with
opportunities to mix business and missions. Accomplish the great
commission through the marketplace.
