How
it started:
William was raised in a catholic family with a brother and
2 sisters and attended Catholic schools through all 12 grades. His youth
was somewhat regimented and unloving and he developed a sense of
rejection and resentment that was later healed through Theophostic
prayer counseling. His entrepreneurial heart was evidenced in a paper
route when he was 12 and working in a gas station in high school. After
high school, William sold jewelry and held multiple jobs yet he felt
empty and without purpose. William married at 25 and separated after a
year. The trauma of the separation, fear of man, lack friends to confide
in, and financial pressure left him with thoughts of suicide. His
brother planted a seed by asking William if he was sure he was saved.
Doubt about his standing with God left him with a life-changing prayer,
“Lord, I’m really sorry. I’ve made such a mess with my life... if you
want my life you can have it,” and God took it.
That simple prayer started a belief in William that he
could make it. He began to hunger for God’s word, got involved in a
Bible-based church and was baptized. Now single, he poured himself into
church activities, Bible College and eventually his first business -
which failed and required repayment of debts over several years of
working. William was single for 9 years before he met Monica.
Personal Passion:
William loves to start new things and has an eye for the
potential in new opportunities. He is naturally well organized and has a
strong administrative talent. He loves to gather people around the
concept of “making things better for everyone involved.” Monica
complements his gift mix with a strong prophetic gift of her own.
Together they have been trained in Theophostic prayer counseling and
enjoy ministering to others on that level.
William spent over 10 years trying to be priestly before it
dawned on him that he was really called to the marketplace as a King. He
was greatly impacted by a message from Rick Joiner pointing out that
nearly all of the important players recorded in the Bible worked in the
marketplace and were not priests. William’s dream is to have a national
franchise and use new stores to ignite, mentor, and release other Kings.
Personal Benefit:
William enjoys the
flexibility and freedom of having his own business. He also loves his
work. He enjoys his customers and staff. Much of his employment
background was in family owned businesses.
Value
to others:
William currently has 2 full time and 7 part-time
employees. His business is a platform to express God’s love, salvation
and freedom for employees and customers. It is out of that heart that
ministry naturally occurs in his contacts. He simply loves people and
his business expresses a service that is needed and helpful. William
places a high value on the quality of his products, reasonable prices,
and the work ethic of his staff. He loves teaming with people that are
not afraid of hard work.
Business Potential (upside): Because baby boomers are aging, the medical uniform
business will triple in the next 10 years. William is opening a second
store in Charlotte; an area with 8 hospitals, multiple retirement homes
and no quality retail stores for medical uniforms. William expects his
business to triple in the next 2 years.
Complexities, failures (downside): William
cares about people so much that he is prone to helping his employees
more than he should; especially with financial help.
He sees the danger of making an idol out of his business at the expense
of his family – Caleb is destined to have three other siblings. William
loves his work but at such an early stage, it does require many hours a
week and it is currently in a transition from a single store in
Cleveland to a new location in Charlotte and a franchising concept. He
short on capital to expand the way he would like to and is looking for
support from other Kings.
Vision for the Kingdom: William
sees the potential to cooperate with God’s plan to release His people in
their Kingdom inheritance now. He labors with the knowledge that those
that are faithful with the talents they do have will receive more.
William also has a healthy vision to simply be a great example of
marketplace integrity, prosperity and ministry fruit in the normal
course of growing his business… making the father proud.
Impact from Releasing Kings:
The impact of this
book has enthusiastically encouraged William to believe that he is not
alone in his Kingdom desires for God's people. The message learned from
Releasing Kings is pure truth from God and could/should release one of
the next greatest moves of the power of God that the world has ever
seen. William feels that if the message of Releasing Kings reaches the
Kings that God has empowered and we pull together, we can truly take
over the marketplace in the world… in the name of Jesus Christ.
